How we worked with the client
We collaborated with the development team in order to implement various features on all existing project areas: smart contracts, back-end and front-end. We also applied our experience and expertise with the aim of increasing team efficiency and making the system more robust, by applying good development practices. Furthermore, the existing code was analyzed with the objective of identifying vulnerabilities and technical improvements so that new features could be planned and prioritized accordingly. A lightweight Agile approach was adopted for organizing work among the team, including the standard daily, planning and retrospective ceremonies.
The Solution
As a crucial feature needed for mobile user adoption, we implemented Account Abstraction on top of the existing application. Account abstraction allows end-users to interact with the on-chain components of the system without having to use wallets like MetaMask, which the application previously utilized. This resulted in a vastly improved and simplified user experience. Additionally, we delivered a solution which allows end-user transactions to be sponsored by the client, granting the possibility of submitting transactions to the network without having to fund them. The account abstraction solution was developed and deployed integrating multiple components with the system: an existing OAuth authentication component, an embedded wallet provider, as well as the existing on-chain components of the ERC-4337 standard.
