Agile Project Management

Posted on

Agile project management is an iterative approach to managing projects that emphasizes flexibility, customer satisfaction, and the delivery of working software or products. It was developed as a response to traditional project management methodologies that were seen as inflexible and bureaucratic, often leading to delays and cost overruns.

Agile project management is often used in software development and other complex, fast-paced projects where requirements and priorities can change rapidly. The approach focuses on delivering working software or products early and frequently, and incorporating customer feedback into the development process to ensure that the product meets the needs of the end-users.

During each iteration, the project team works closely with the customer or product owner to define the project requirements and deliver a working product or feature. The team holds regular meetings to review progress and adjust the project plan as needed, and they prioritize work based on customer feedback and business value.
